FOUNDING ARTIST

Black and white photo of a Great Dane Digby dog sitting on a surface, the dog has a white face with black patches around the eyes and a distinctive black nose.

Endangered Inks is my tribute to the wild — a quiet way of honouring what we stand to lose. Each ‘‘INK’’ (artwork) I create, is hand-drawn, using ink and pastel on watercolour paper. My aim is always the same: to capture not just how an animal looks, but something of its presence — its spirit, its dignity.

I begin every piece with research and when possible, observation. I want to understand the animal beyond its form — its behaviour, its character, the small details that make it entirely its own. I’m drawn to creating art in detail, mostly monochrome realism, with touches of colour, allowing each subject to feel both timeless and alive. More than anything, I hope people connect — that they pause, look closer, and see these animals as individuals, not just species.

INKS, for me, comes from a deep love of wildlife. It’s where joy and responsibility meet.

With every INK, I hope to spark a sense of empathy — and perhaps a quiet shift towards action. Twenty per cent of every sale is donated to conservation, so each piece becomes part of something larger: real, tangible support for protecting wildlife.

At its heart, my work is about three simple things: celebrating the beauty of the natural world, raising awareness for endangered species, and reminding us that we all share a responsibility to protect what is rare and irreplaceable.

Every INK — drawn to protect.
